Plastics

• It takes 450 years for each outer layer of plastic to biodegrade.  The first plastics ever made still have not decomposed completely.
  
• Only 5% of the world's plastics are collected for recycling.  Most of the plastics we use are not considered by recycling centers due to lack of economic value per weight.  
• We dispose about x tonnes of plastic daily.  By the year xxxx the world will become a landfill if this cycle is not stopped.

ISH wants to create awareness among consumers and to promote initiative by being a part of the solution to help save the environment.
